Overview of lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, trans and intersex (LGBTI) health and medical inequalities. Abstract
Lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, trans and intersex (LGBTI) individuals encounter significant wellness inequalities. Found within a European Commission funded pilot project, this paper presents overview of the wellness inequalities faced by LGBTI individuals in addition to obstacles health care professionals encounter when care that is providing. A narrative synthesis of 57 documents including systematic reviews, narrative reviews, meta analyses and research that is primary. Literature had been searched in Cochrane, Campbell Collaboration, online of Science, CINAHL, PsychINFO and Medline. The review had been undertaken to advertise knowledge of the reasons and selection of inequalities, also just how to reduce inequalities.
